These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ServiceDial (the “App”) and related services (collectively, the “Service”), provided by ServiceDial (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) The Service

ServiceDial is a ZIP-code-based directory that helps users discover home service providers and tap to call them. The Service may display business hours and “open now” status when available.

We do not provide home repair services ourselves unless explicitly stated.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3) No Emergency Services

ServiceDial is not an emergency service. Do not use it to contact emergency responders. If you have an emergency, call 911.

4) Listings, Accuracy & No Endorsement

  • Listings are provided for informational purposes only.
  • We do not guarantee listings are accurate, complete, current, or available.
  • We do not endorse, certify, or guarantee any provider unless the listing explicitly states a verified status (and only if such program exists).

You are responsible for evaluating providers and agreeing on pricing, scope, and terms directly with them.

5) Tap-to-Call

When you tap “Call”, the App may open your device’s dialer or initiate a call. You are responsible for any phone charges. We are not responsible for call outcomes, disputes, pricing, or service quality provided by third parties.

6) Sponsored Listings & PPC

Some listings may be marked “Sponsored” and may appear more prominently. Sponsored placement may be influenced by advertising arrangements. We may measure interactions (e.g., taps) for analytics and billing.

7) User Reports & Feedback

You may be able to submit reports (e.g., wrong number, spam/scam, incorrect hours). You agree:

  • Not to submit false, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content.
  • Not to upload confidential or personal information about individuals without permission.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use your reports/feedback to operate, improve, and promote the Service.

8) Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Interfere with the Service (e.g., scraping, crawling, automated harvesting, reverse engineering).
  • Attempt to access non-public areas or systems.
  • Submit spam, fake reports, or manipulate sponsored interactions.
  • Misrepresent affiliation with any provider or with ServiceDial.

9) Intellectual Property

The App, designs, logos, and software are owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service except as permitted by law.

10) Third-Party Services

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., maps, websites). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, content, or policies.

11) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or if required to protect the Service, users, or third parties.

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the App.

12) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free,
  • listings will be accurate or available,
  • providers will respond, or
  • outcomes of any service engagement will meet expectations.

13) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ServiceDial WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

14) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ServiceDial from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights.

15) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of STATE, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.

16) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
